Summary
The banner widget allows you to create a page banner to display images, text and links

Steps
- Create or navigate to the relevant page or sectionÂ
- From the page or section, locate and select the ‘EDIT’ option then
select ‘Widgets’ - You will be directed to the ‘Edit Content or Edit Section’ screen. Identify the region to add the banner widget to and select ‘+’ (‘Add widget) option
- From the Widget library select ‘Design’ then ‘Banner’
- You will be directed to ‘Banner widget settings’. There are 3 tabs to choose from, depending on how you would like to add an image to the banner:
- ‘Layout’ tab – Upload an imageÂ
- ‘Files’ tab – Add an image which has already been uploaded to the siteÂ
- ‘My files’ tab – Select from images you have already uploaded to the site

6. From the ‘LAYOUT’ tab, select the camera icon to add an image
7. You will be directed to the ‘Add file’ screen. From the ‘UPLOAD’ tab select ‘UPLOAD FILE’
8. Select an image and then select ‘Open’Â
9. You will be directed back to the ‘Add file’ screen, provide:
- ‘Name’ for the imageÂ
- Description for the image
- Title text which will be used in the tool tip
‘FILES’ tab
10. From the ‘FILES’tab you can search for and add files that have already been uploaded to the site. To search for an image, use the filters by:
- Typing the file name in ‘Search files’
- Selecting the ‘File type’
- Selecting the ‘Section’Â
- Selecting the ‘My section’ option
11. Sort by:
- Upload date
- Use count
12. Order:
- AscendingÂ
- DescendingÂ
13. Then select ‘APPLY’. The search results will now be displayedÂ
14. Select an image from the search results displayedÂ
‘MY FILES’ tab
15. From the ‘Add file’ screen select the ‘MY FILES’ tab. From here you can search for and add files that you have already uploaded to the siteÂ
15. Sort by:
- Upload date
- Use count
16. Order:
- AscendingÂ
- Descending
17. Then select ‘APPLY’. The search results will now be displayedÂ
18. Select an image from the search results displayedÂ
19. Once you have added the image and configured it select ‘SAVE’ to save your changes or ‘CANCEL’
20. You will be navigated to the ‘Edit Page’ for Banner. When you click into the ‘Title’ area, the WYSIWYG toolbar opens, enabling you to add and style your banner text

22. Add LinksÂ
23. Target the banner
24. Once you have configured your banner, select ‘ADD’ (or select ‘BACK’ if you would not like to save your changes)
