Custom Content

What's New

The intranet wide update in January 2024 includes significant improvements and changes. 

Improvements applied to existing features and functionality include:

    • Left Hand Side (LHS) - the LHS of the users screen has now been prioritised for just content creation.
    • Right Hand Side (RHS) - the RHS Draw is now the ‘administrative’ section of the content types. 
    • Configuration Panel - Is now located at the bottom of the content type and contains ‘Engage’, ‘Links’, ‘Promote’, ‘Search’, ‘Tags’ and ‘Target’
    • WYSIWYG Options - Post update when you access the WYSIWYG you will see the options specific to your role

Create Custom Content

Steps
  1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select the ‘Create’ icon (+)
  2. Select “Custom Content” under the “Content” heading
  3. You will be redirected to the ‘Create’ screen

  4. Give your ‘Custom Content’ a title
  5. To add text and other elements into the body of your custom content, click on  ‘Body
  6. On the ‘Right Hand Side’ (RHS) select ‘Expand all
  7. Input the relevant details required
  8. select ‘Save

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edit Custom Content

Steps
  1. Navigate to the location of the ‘Custom Content‘ that you would like to ‘Edit
  2. Select the ‘Content’ and you will be redirected to the ‘View‘ screen
  3. Select the ‘Three dots‘ located at the top right of the page
  4. From the dropdown select ‘Edit
  5. You will be redirected to the ‘Edit‘ screen

  6. Make any ammendments you would like
  7. select ‘Save

View Custom Content

Steps
  1. Navigate to the location of the ‘Custom Content‘ that you would like to ‘View
  2. Select the ‘Custom Content
  3. You will be redirected to the ‘Custom Content

  4. Here you can:
    1. Save
    2. Like
    3. Comment
    4. View ‘Attachments
    5. View ‘Owner/Author‘ 

Admin

Includes options for:

  • Organising content
  • Managing workflow
  • Adding a featured image
  • Attachments
  • Revisions
