What’s New

The intranet wide update in August 2023 includes significant improvements and changes. 

In addition to there being new features and functionalities there have been changes made to the current areas on the intranet. Some of the changes surrounding Social Apps (Message Wall, Ideas, Groups, Queries & Blogs) are:

Admin Tab – The admin tab is now accessible from within the section of the social app. Here you can now administer:

  • The category (Message Wall, Ideas, Groups & Queries)
  • Comment options
  • App Icon

Dashboard – Dashboard chart headers have been updated to have standardised labeling across social apps

Create – Group Docs

Navigate to ‘Group Docs’  

Steps
    1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select ‘Apps’ and then ‘Groups’’

      Select apps

       

    2. You will be directed to the ‘Groups’ homepage
    3. Select an existing ‘Group‘ that you want to add ‘Docs‘ to
    4. Select the ‘Docs‘ tab

    5. Select the ‘Create’ button and choose from:
      1. Folder
      2. Doc

        Create button

    6. If you select ‘Folder‘ you will be redirected to the ‘Create Folder‘ screen
      1. Input a ‘Title
      2. Select ‘Save

    7. If you select ‘Doc‘ you will be redirected to the ‘Create Doc‘ screen
      1. Input a ‘Title
      2. Add the ‘Doc‘ content
      3. Navigate to ‘Configuration‘ to enable comments
      4. On the Right Hand Side (RHS) select ‘Expand All
        1. Add a ‘Summary
        2. Add a ‘Featured image
        3. Input the ‘Review date
        4. Select ‘Archive‘ to archive the ‘Doc‘ or not
        5. Select the ‘Publishing Options

      5. Select ‘Save’

Group Docs – Homepage

Navigate to ‘Group Docs’  

Steps
  1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select ‘Apps’ and then ‘Groups’’

    Select apps

     

  2. You will be directed to the ‘Groups’ homepage
  3. Select an existing ‘Group‘ that you want to view ‘Docs‘ in
  4. Select the ‘Docs‘ tab
  5. You will be presented with ‘Docs‘ homepage
  6. Choose between the ‘List View‘ and the ‘Grid View‘ in the top right corner

  7. Under the ‘Folders’ heading select the chosen folder to view the ‘Docs‘ within it
  8. To the right of the ‘Folders‘ select the ‘Three dots‘ in order to:
    1. Move
    2. Rename
    3. Delete
  9. Under the ‘Docs‘ heading you will be able to see any that are not in a ‘Folder
  10. To the right of the ‘Docs‘ select the ‘Three dots‘ in order to:
    1. View‘ – You will be redirected to view the document
    2. Edit‘ – You will be redirected to the ‘Edit Doc‘ screen
    3. Clone‘ – You will be redirected to the ‘Clone‘ of the original ‘Doc
    4. Move‘ – From the dropdown select which ‘Folder‘ to move the ‘Doc‘ to 
    5. Delete‘ – To ‘Delete’ the ‘Doc
