What's New
The intranet wide update in August 2023 includes significant improvements and changes.
Improvements applied to existing features and functionality include:

- Left Hand Side (LHS) - the LHS of the users screen has now been prioritised for just content creation.
- Right Hand Side (RHS) - the RHS Draw is now the ‘administrative’ section of the content types.
- Configuration Panel - Is now located at the bottom of the content type and contains ‘Engage’, ‘Links’, ‘Promote’, ‘Search’, ‘Tags’ and ‘Target’
- WYSIWYG Options - Post update when you access the WYSIWYG you will see the options specific to your role
Create manual / manual page
Create a ‘Manual’
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select the ‘Create’ icon (+)

- Select “Manual” under the “Content” heading
- You will be directed to the ‘Create manual’ screen.
- Give your ‘Manual’ a title
- To add text and other elements into the body of the page, click on ‘Start typing’ .

- To start adding manuals select ‘Add item’
- Select from:
- ‘Create subheader’
- ‘Create new manual page’
- ‘Add existing manual page’
- The navigation menu will appear, Double click to add title
- Select whether the item is a:
- ‘Subheader’
- ‘Draft’
- ‘Reviewed’
- ‘Published’
- ‘Unpublished’
- To reorder the items click the two ’Drag handles’ on the left hand side of the item
- To view the order select the ‘Show Order’ button
Admin
Includes options for:
- Organising content
- Managing workflow
- Adding a featured image
- Attachments
- Revisions
Configure
Includes options for:
- Links
- Tags
- Targeting,
- Promote
- Commenting options
Note:
Users are able to configure everything they can configure on the ‘Create page’ except the following options which are available to the user on the create manual page
- Manual reference
- Manual structure
*The two above options can also be configured once the manual page has been created.
Edit Manual
Edit a ‘Manual’
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Manual Page’. The user will be directed to the ‘Edit manual’ screen. From here, the user can complete the following actions:
- Update page title
- To update text, click on the existing body text entered .
On the right of the screen is the drawer, click ‘EXPAND ALL’ to:
- Update ‘Owner*’ of the page by either:
- Typing in the owners name
- If you are the owner then select ‘MAKE ME THE OWNER’
- ‘Organise’ where your page will be displayed on the screen. Start typing to search and select a location
- Update ‘Summary’
- The summary text will appear in widgets and improve search results
- Add a ‘Featured image’
- ‘Attach files’
- Select the ‘Workflow*’ state from one of the following options
- ‘Draft’
- ‘Needs review’
- ‘Reviewed’
- ‘Published’
- Schedule publishing:
- ‘Immediately’
- ‘In the future’
- You can also leave a comment to assist other members in your publishing team.
- Add a ‘Review date*’ and time for when the page will need to be reviewed
- From ‘Revision log’ select the type of revision for the changes you’ve made:
- None
- Major
- Minor
- Add a ‘Revision comment’ (Your comment will be published). Select ‘View Revision History’ to see previous revisions
Locate the ‘Configuration’ option located at the bottom of the screen to access:
- Configuration
- Select ‘SAVE’ to save your changes
- The following options which are available:
- Manual reference
- Manual structure
Templates
View all existing templates in one place
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select the cog icon (‘Administration’ settings)
- Select ‘Templates’ and then select the the tab for the content type that you require
- From this page you can:
- View existing templates
- Search for an existing template
- Add a template
Add template
Summary
Create templates for:
- Gallery
- List
- Manual
- Manual page
- Multimedia
- News
- Page
- Policy
- Site section
- Webform
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select the cog icon (‘Administration’ settings)
- Select ‘Templates’ and then the tab for the content type that you require
- Select ‘ADD TEMPLATE’
- Add ‘Title *’ for the new template
- Add ‘Description’ about why this template is being created
- ‘SAVE’
Operations
Search for existing templates using the “Search” functionality available
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select the cog icon (‘Administration’ settings)
- Select ‘Templates’ and then the tab for the content type that you would like to create a new template for
- Add / select the following details:
- Add a ‘search’ term
- Select ‘Type:’
- All
- Normal
- Default
- Overwritten
- Select whether the template you are searching for is ‘Enabled’:
- All
- Enabled
- Disabled
- ‘Sort by’:
- Enabled, title
- Title
- Type
- Created date
- Update date
- Select ‘Order’:
- Up
- Down
View Manual
Be able to view a ‘Manual’
Steps
- Navigate to a ‘Manual‘ that you would like to view
- Select the ‘Manual‘
- Select ‘+ Create Manual Page’ to create a new ‘Manual’
- Select the ‘Overflow’ menu located in the top right corner (‘Three dots’) in order to:
- ‘Edit’ – You will be able to ‘Edit’ the content if you are the ‘Author’
- ‘Clone’
- ‘Delete’ – You will be able to ‘Delete’ the content if you are the ‘Author’ or ‘Admin’
- ‘Revisions’
- ‘Workflow’
- Located at the top of the content underneath the title of the ‘Manual‘ you will be able to:
- View the ‘Author‘
- Select the ‘Author’s’ name to be redirected to the ‘Author’s’ profile screen
- View the ‘Published‘ date
- Be able to ‘Save‘ the content
- Be able to ‘Like‘ the content and see who else has ‘Liked’ it
- Be able to ‘Comment‘ on the content and view existing ‘Comments’
- Be able to view any ‘Attached‘ items to the ‘Content’
- View the ‘Author‘
- The ‘Manual Navigation Menu’ (List) will appear below the ‘Body/Description’
- Any ‘Tags‘ related to the content will be located underneath
- To ‘Comment’ on the ‘Content‘:
- Select ‘Add a comment here‘ underneath the ‘Comments‘ heading
Add manual page
View the created ‘Manual’ / ‘Manual Page’
Steps
- Navigate to the ‘Manual Page’. Here you will be presented with the following options:
- Select ‘ADD MANUAL PAGE’ and you will be directed to the ‘Create Manual Page’ screen.
