What’s New

The intranet wide update in August 2023 includes significant improvements and changes. 

In addition to there being new features and functionalities there have been changes made to the current areas on the intranet:

Reactions‘ is a new approach to creating, defining and managing triggers and actions on the intranet

Reactions‘ are built to be flexible and extendable for future use cases, instances or scenarios that require implementation in the product

      Reactions define intranet triggers and actions

      Examples:

      Trigger (App & Event) Actions (App & Event)
      User adds comment to content Post author receives in app notification
      Post author receives email notification
      Content types: Author changes workflow state changes from Draft to Needs Review Reviewer receives in app notification
      Reviewer receives email notification

      Steps

      1. Navigate to a piece of content you would like to ‘Like’
          1. Select the ‘Content’
          2. Navigate towards the bottom of the ‘Content’
          3. Select the ‘Thumb’ icon in order to ‘Like’ he ‘Content’

            Like a post

          4. The author of the ‘Content’ will be notified
      2. Locate a ‘User’ that you would like to ‘Follow’
          1. Select their ‘Profile’
          2. Select the ‘Follow’ button located to the right of their name and profile picture

          3. You will now be ‘Following’ this user
          4. The ‘User’ that you chose to follow will be notified
      3. Navigate to a piece of ‘Content’ that you would like to ‘Bookmark’ so that you can access it later
          1. Select the ‘Content’
          2. Navigate towards the bottom of the ‘Content’
          3. Select the ‘Bookmark’ icon

          4. The ‘Icon’ will now turn grey to signify it has been ‘Bookmarked’
      4. Navigate to a piece of ‘Content’ that you would like to ‘Report’
          1. Select the ‘Three dots’ located at the top right of the ‘Content’
          2. From the dropdown, select ‘Report’

          3. Input your ‘Reason for flagging’
          4. Select ‘Report’
