What's New

The new intranet update includes significant improvements and changes. 

This guide includes all major changes and additions to Invotra in this project

Accessibility

Invotra has been rebuilt with web accessibility first approach. It is at the heart of our design, development process and we are constantly focussed on delivering and inclusive digital experience for all our customers. 

Both rigorous internal testing and intense external audits has meant we have been able to identify where we can improve and where we excel. 

Not an afterthought but a core design value embedded within our product design and delivery from start to finish.

 We have focussed in fundamental areas such as:

  • Landmark regions
  • ARIA labels
  • Keyboard order and interactions
  • Zoom
  • Colour contrast

 

Performance

With the new intranet running on new faster more robust technology site performance has increased both in speed and responsiveness. This is due to the new infrastructure, tech stack and architecture. And also how we have redesigned the front end user interface to be optimised for speed and agility.

 

Managing data.

 Intranet data remains constantly updated (hourly during office hours: peak) and daily during out of ours: off peak). This allows for faster page load times and less performance strain on your intranet!

Implementing limits

Limitations for features and functionality  provide optimal site performance for all site users and can prevent significant performance issues,  incidents and errors.

  1. Enforcing concurrency limits (The amount of simultaneous user interactions across multiple tabs for content creating)

  10. Revisions limit set to 20
