Authentication

Learn more about the different options and capabilities around ‘Authentication’ 

 Authentication (Username & Password)

 

Steps
  1. Locate the login screen of your ‘Intranet
  2. When logging into your ‘Intranet‘ via this manual method you will see two input fields:
    1. Username
    2. Password
  3. Input the relevant information into each field

    Manual Login

  4. Select ‘Login
  5. You will be redirected to your ‘Intranet’s‘ homepage 

 

 Forgotten Your Password?

 

Steps
  1. Locate the ‘Forgot password?‘ link underneath the two input fields
  2. Select the ‘Link
  3. You will be redirected to the ‘Forgot password‘ screen, here you will need to input the ‘6 – digit code‘ that was sent to your phone

    Password Reset Code

  4. Select ‘Reset password
  5. You will be redirected to the ‘Reset password‘ screen
  6. Input your ‘New password
  7. Confirm ‘New password
  8. Select ‘Login

Note: Your password must contain at least:

  • 10 characters
  • 1 digit
  • 1 lowercase letter
  • 1 uppercase letter

 Authentication MFA (Multi Factor Authentication)

 

Steps
  1. Locate the login screen of your ‘Intranet
  2. When logging into your ‘Intranet‘ via this manual method you will see two input fields:
    1. Username
    2. Password
  3. Input the relevant information into each field
  4. Select ‘Login
  5. You will be redirected to the ‘Enter Mobile Number‘ screen
  6. here you need to input your ‘Mobile Number‘ and select ‘Send Code
  7. Once you have recieved your ‘6 – digit code‘ input the ‘Authentication‘ code in the relevant field

  8. Select ‘Login
  9. You will be redirected to your ‘Intranet’s‘ homepage

Authentication SSO (Single Sign On)

 

Steps
  1. Locate the login screen of your ‘Intranet
  2. Here you will be presented with two ‘Login‘ options:
    1. SSO
    2. Manual Login
  3. Select the ‘SSO‘ button which is located above the ‘Manual Login‘ fields

  4. If you are not already logged in to your ‘Identity provider‘ you will be redirected to that login screen. E.g. Active Directory
    1. Proceed to ‘Login‘ with the relevant details for your ‘Identity provider
    2. Navigate back to the ‘Login‘ of the ‘Intranet
    3. You will be redirected to the ‘Homepage‘ of your ‘Intranet
  5. If you are already logged in to your identity provider you will be redirected to the homepage of your ‘Intranet
