What is moderation?

Moderation  refers to the process of overseeing and managing content or comments that is published or shared on an organisation’s site. This involves reviewing, approving, or deleting content posted by employees to ensure that it adheres to the organization’s policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Moderation helps in maintaining a professional and respectful communication environment, preventing the spread of inappropriate content, protecting sensitive information, and fostering a positive company culture.

How does it work?

Content or comments that are published by site users may be reported by other site users. These reports are then reviewed.  Content or comments that are deemed inappropriate will be removed.  Content or comments that are not deemed inappropriate will not be removed.

What is pre moderation?

Pre Moderation is similar moderation. The main difference is that moderation of content or comments takes place before they are published on the site and made available to site users.
