What's New

The new intranet update includes significant improvements and changes. 

Webforms has been redesigned to deliver a more intuative and visual building and previewing experience for content creators. Leveraging drag and drop interactions users can now build a webform with little effort in minutes .

Getting started

There two ways you can to create a new webform

From the app bar
Steps
  1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select ‘Apps’  and then ‘Webforms
  2. You will be redirected to the ‘Webforms‘ create and build screen
From the Webform home screen
Steps
  1. Navigate to Webforms home screen
  2. Select the’Create’ button
  3. You will be redirected to the ‘Webforms‘ create and build screen

Add/edit title in the ‘Webform Title’ field

Building your webform

Select webform components from left hand drawer

 

Questions

  • View the Questions tab – includes question types (components) that can be added to the webform
  • Select Question/s to drag and drop into the Central Build area from the Left-hand drawer
    • Drag QUESTION to position in Central Build area 
    • Update question type as needed
    • Configure question type as needed using right hand drawer
    • Questions can be:
      • Reordered
      • Deleted
      • Cloned
      • Moved from one page to another
      • Required

Pages

  • Every webform starts with a default page
  • Additional pages can be added
  • Questions are added to pages
  • Pages can also be
    • Configured
    • Reordered

Logic

  • View the Logic tab – includes question types (components) that can be added to the webform
    • Logic can be added to your webform 
      • These include conditions that can be defined based on the question input or choices submitted by the user when they completing the form

Configuring questions or pages
  • Select webform question component or page that has been placed in the Central Build area
  • Options for configuration will depend on the webform question or page being selected

    Preview, save or delete a webform

     

    Preview webform

    Select the ‘Preview’ button in the app bar to see an accurate view of the webform that users will see.

     

    Save webform

    Select the ‘Save’ button and the workflow state of the webform

    • Save as a draft
    • Archived
    • Published
    Delete webform

    Select the ‘Options’ (3 dots) button  in the app bar

    • Select ‘Delete’
    • Confirm

    Submissions

    • Viewing the webform on the webform home screen select the option menu (three dots) and select Submissions option
    • Alternatively while viewing the webform in edit mode select the ‘Submissions’ tab to view all current or past submissions
    • The table of results for submissions can be updated by using the filters in the left drawer
    • Submissions can also be exported by selecting the ‘Export’ button

    Settings

    Select the ‘Settings’ tab to view options to configure settings for webforms

    • Email
      • Enter the email you would like your webform submissions to go to and manage the confirmation email settings.
    • Status and scheduling
      • Manage submission settings. For example limiting submissions, anonymising results, customising submission confirmations.
    • Submissions
      • Manage submission settings. For example limiting submissions, anonymising results, customising submission confirmations.
    • Notifications
      • Manage which users will receive notifications when a webform submitted
    • Autosave
      • Enable/Disable
