What's New

The intranet wide update in January 2024 includes significant improvements and changes.

In addition to there being new features and functionalities there have been changes made to the current areas on the intranet. Some of the changes surrounding Social Apps (Message Wall, Ideas, Groups, Queries & Blogs) are:

Admin Tab – The admin tab is now accessible from within the section of the social app. Here you can now administer:

The category (Message Wall, Ideas, Groups & Queries)

Create

Create a ‘Group Post’

Steps

1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select ‘Apps’ and then ‘Groups’’
  Select apps
2. You will be directed to the ‘Groups’ homepage
3. From the home screen you can::
  1. Search for ‘Groups’ using the ‘Search Bar’
  2. Create a new ‘Group’
  3. View existing ‘Groups’
4. Select a ‘Group‘ you would like to add a post to
5. You will be redirected to that ‘Group‘
6. Select the ‘Create‘ button

7. Select ‘Post‘
8. Here you will be directed to the ‘Create Group Post‘ screen
  1. Input a ‘Title‘
  2. Select ‘Start typing‘ to add any content
  3. Select the ‘Insert‘ button to add an image
  4. Select the ‘Styles‘ button to change the style of your content via the WYSIWYG
  5. Choose a ‘Category‘

9. Select ‘Post‘

View

View a ‘Group Post’

Steps

1. Navigate to the ‘Workbar’ and select ‘Apps’ and then ‘groups’
2. You will be directed to the ‘Groups’ homepage
3. From the home screen you can::
  1. Search for ‘Groups’ using the ‘Search Bar’
  2. Create a new ‘Group’
  3. View existing ‘Groups’
4. Select a ‘Group‘ you would like to view a post in
5. You will be redirected to that ‘Group‘
6. Here you can view any ‘Posts‘ that have been created
7. To view a specific ‘Post‘ select the one you would like to view
8. You will be redirected to the specific ‘Post‘ view
9. Select the three dots in the top right of the ‘Post‘ to:
10. ‘Edit‘
11. ‘Pin‘
12. ‘Delete‘
13. ‘Report‘
  Three button drop down
14. Select the ‘Save’ icon to save a ‘Post‘
15. Select the ‘Thumbs up’ to like a ‘Post‘
  Like and Save
